What we collect, and why
We collect the minimum we need to run the site and respond to people who get in touch. Specifically:
If you book a call
Our contact page embeds a Calendly booking widget. When you book, Calendly records your name, email, time zone, and anything you type into the booking form. We use that information to show up to the call and follow up afterward. Calendly stores this on their own servers under their privacy policy.
If you email us
Anything you send to hello@mavericksunlimited.com arrives in our Google Workspace inbox. We use it to reply to you. We don't add you to mailing lists or share what you write.
If you accept analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 records anonymised usage data — which pages get visited, roughly where in the world visitors are coming from, and what device they're on. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
Cookies
This site uses three categories of cookie. You decide on first visit, and can change your mind any time.
- Strictly necessary (always on) — one cookie remembering your consent choice. No tracking.
- Analytics (only with consent) — Google Analytics 4 (cookies named
_gaand_ga_*). - Embedded media (only with consent) — Vimeo background videos and the Calendly booking widget set their own cookies when their content loads. With consent declined, these stay blocked.
Lawful basis
- For analytics cookies and embedded media: your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR).
- For Calendly bookings and emails: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Third parties we use
- Netlify — hosts the site. Processes visitor IP addresses for security and routing. US-based, covered under the UK-US Data Bridge.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage data, only with consent. Google is covered under the UK-US Data Bridge.
- Calendly — booking. Stores booking details on their US servers under standard contractual clauses.
- Vimeo — embedded background videos. May set its own cookies for player functionality.
How long we keep your data
- Calendly bookings: up to 24 months after the meeting.
- Email correspondence: as long as needed to respond, then archived or deleted within 24 months.
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).
- Consent choice: 12 months from your last visit, then we'll ask again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it
- Stop processing it (object)
- Send it to you in a portable format
Email hello@mavericksunlimited.com and we'll come back within 30 days. You can also withdraw consent for analytics and embedded media at any time via the cookie settings link.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. For substantive changes that affect how we use your data, we'll prompt you to re-consent.
