Hasan Khair

I founded Mavericks in 2014 after fifteen years leading talent and leadership across the creative sector - including five years as EMEA Chief Talent Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi. I've spent my career in rooms where leadership is under pressure and someone needs to say what no one else will.

I shape our client relationships, build the right team around each engagement, and make sure the work lands. I built Mavericks because I believe the best leadership work happens when you combine emotional intelligence with commercial honesty.

I've spent over twenty years as a creative director working across brand, strategy, and communications. I bring that thinking to how Mavericks shows up - shaping our brand, our materials, and how we tell the story of the work we do. Before Mavericks, my agency was my life until the day it wasn't. That ending became this beginning.

Guy Wolfenden

I keep Mavericks running. Operations, delivery logistics, associate coordination, and making sure every engagement is set up to succeed. Before this, I spent two decades leading operations and production at agencies including BBH, Ogilvy, and ITV. I know what it takes to deliver complex work under pressure - and to keep everything moving behind the scenes.

Innovation through its acquisition by Accenture. I work with senior leaders and their teams to unlock potential and build performance cultures that actually deliver.

I co-founded Mavericks with Hasan in 2014, then stepped away to live my dream by the mountains in British Columbia. I'm still part of the team as an associate - bringing 25 years of experience across executive coaching, organisational strategy, and boardroom consulting. Before Mavericks, I was a Principal Consultant at PwC.

I've been an executive coach for over fifteen years, predominantly working with board members, directors, and heads of organisations. I have a background in psychology and spent a decade at board level leading HR and talent. I coach people who want to make real change happen - fast - by seeing what's in their way and what's in their hands.

I combine twenty-five years of commercial experience with executive coaching. I've run my own multi-million pound business and held senior leadership roles at organisations including Oxford Innovation and AstraZeneca. I coach ambitious founders, directors, and leaders - bringing big-hearted challenge alongside commercial rigour.

Before coaching full-time, I spent six years as a Director in financial services recruitment, managing three teams. Now I work with rising and high-achieving leaders across financial services, startups, and FMCGs - helping them stay energised, focused, and resilient.

Three redundancies and a business that was forced to close. Three careers that ended before this one began. We found each other and built something from the wreckage.

We don't just advise from consulting theory books - we've lived it. A decade in business means we've navigated our own inflection points. A pandemic. Market uncertainty. Personal crises. Founder transitions.

And we've stayed together by practising what we preach - honesty, accountability, and the belief that the hard conversations are the ones worth having.
